Last Quarter

Another day, another change of blogger. This morning brings the news that the infection is no longer treatable and Dad's body is shutting down.

This has been a long time coming but it's still very difficult. At the moment he is just sleeping, he hasn't been able to eat or drink because he's too drowsy.

If you're inclined to pop in and say goodbye to Trev, it needs to be in the next couple of days. He's at Neringah pallative care facility just next to Wahroonga station. Keep in mind that he's very out of it and may not be able to answer you, but studies have shown that even in this state he may still know you are there.

Thanks for all the messages of support, he's getting the best care possible. It's a wonderful thing that we're able to reach out to the many people he's touched through the blog and through other means.

Thanks again,
Cassie.

  1. Not much to say - but we are here praying and thinking of you all from the UK. What a family, what a man, what a dad and just a great all round 100% mate to so many of us. So glad you were a part of my life Trev. Bluey, Jude and Keira (and Carly, Hannah and Jake in Australia)
